You all know I am new ro macs, But i do agree, Why do any groups that want to help macs with their coolness alway end up hurting Mac in the end. So very sad that the world has be come this way. And even more sad is the slashdot in gerneral has gone way down hill. I hate to say it but maybe all Slash need to be ¨taken out to pasture".

I agree. I check in with MacSlash every so often, but it's second to my other news sites. They often have bad Ask MacSlash questions and do a copy and paste of everything that shows up in Software Update. They have a small and shrinking community, but the site could easily be salvaged with some updates to the site and more frequent news posts with more substance.
